Shahab Qader Khan

Shahab has been associated with the energy sector for more than 28 years. During this time, he has been extensively involved in multiple large scale energy projects. His last association was with Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited as Chief Executive Officer. He has previously worked for Engro Energy Limited as Vice President Business Development, Siddiqsons Energy Limited as Chief Executive Officer and as Head of Commercial for Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company. He holds an engineering degree from UET Lahore and is an alumnus of INSEAD France.

Imran Qureshi

Mr. Imran Qureshi has over 30 years of experience in leadership roles held locally and globally. Before joining KE, Imran successfully led business turnarounds, business advocacy and high impact crisis and reputation management in senior roles which include Head of Government Relations at Shell Pakistan Limited, EVP at Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) as well as Country Manager: South and South-East Asia at Thuraya Satellite and Telecommunications Company Ltd Abu Dhabi, UAE. Mr. Qureshi holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Birmingham (UK), and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore.

Abbas Husain

Mr. Abbas Husain has over 24 years of experience across public and private sector organisations in areas of power operations & maintenance (O&M), project development, project execution management and business development. Abbas joined KE in 2012 and has served in Generation and Transmission functions as an integral part of KE’s corporate turnaround. At KE, his major contributions include establishment of BQPS-II, planning of mega transmission projects, adding 200 MW through 4 IPP projects where KE signed long-term PPAs and BQPS-III (900MW) RLNG combined cycle power plant. Mr. Husain holds a BE (Electrical) degree from NED University

Wahid Asghar

Following a 28-year stint in the Pakistan Army, where he retired as Colonel, Mr Wahid Asghar joined KE in 2009 and presently leads the Company’s Security, Criminal Litigation, Works & Estate and Administration functions. Mr. Asghar’s focus has remained on streamlining and enabling business processes and driving transparency and accountability. He also leads efforts to identify key land assets for development of power infrastructure and has insight of vendor development and management for material and services. He has served on local and international special assignments and has been awarded the Tamgha-e-Basalat for his achievements along with receiving the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card twice.

Rizwan Pesnani

Chief Risk Officer and Company Secretary since 2021. In addition to Risk Management and Corporate Affairs, he also oversees Legal and Cybersecurity functions. Mr. Rizwan Pesnani joined KE in 2013 and was leading the Treasury and Corporate Finance function of K-Electric prior to taking on this role. Rizwan has over 30 years of rich and diversified experience in the public and private sector, having worked within and outside Pakistan in Central Bank, Utility & Infrastructure sectors in areas of Finance, Risk Management, Financial Planning & Management, Corporate Governance, Corporate Finance and Project Development & Finance. He is a fellow member of ICAP.

Sadia Dada

Sadia Dada’s experience spans Communications, Brand Building, Sustainability Management as well as Media and Reputation Management. She has earlier served at KE as Director Communications and Chief of Staff and later at Philip Morris Pakistan as Director Communications. Sadia returned to KE and currently leads the Marketing, Communications, ESG and Customer Experience functions. An alumnus of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), she brings multi-sectoral experience from her past affiliations including Unilever Pakistan, Nestle Pk and Mobilink (now Jazz). She is part of NOWPDP’s Board of Advisors and Founder of Women in Numbers, an online networking community exclusively for working women. She tweets at @DadaSadia

Rizwan Dalia

Mr. Rizwan Dalia joined KE in 2008 and served in senior roles within the Finance and Corporate Affairs functions before his appointment as Chief People Officer (CPO) in 2018. Rizwan started his career with A. F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of PwC global network). He has previously served at Pakistan State Oil, is a Fellow of ICAP and a PICG Certified Director. He is also a member Board of Governors at PSTD and an Executive Committee member for PSHRM. He is a frequent speaker at various forums on topics related to HR digitalization and future challenges and is an avid golfer.

Muhammad Aamir Ghaziani

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Ghaziani has more than 20 years of diversified experience in areas of finance, corporate and strategic planning, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business turnarounds. He joined KE in 2008 and has served in senior roles in Finance and Regulatory Compliance, before being appointed as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer in 2018. Aamir is Chairman and Board member of K-Solar and also serves on the Board of KEVCL. Aamir is a Fellow member of ICAP and a Certified Director from PICG. He started his career with A.F. Ferguson & Co. (a member firm of PwC global network) and has attended executive management programs from prestigious institutions including INSEAD.

Syed Moonis Abdullah Alvi

Joining KE in 2008, Syed Moonis Alvi held key roles in the Organisation as CFO, Company Secretary and Head of Treasury prior to his appointment as CEO in 2018. He brings to the helm 30 years of diversified financial experience and has led the creation of a future-ready entity by emphasizing digitisation, customer centricity and investments across the energy value chain. He has championed numerous diversity initiatives including the global award-winning Roshni Baji program at KE and is a Fellow member of ICAP.
