Karachi; August 13, 2015: The presence of KE Football Club at the Asian Football Confederation – AFC cup 2015 held in Bhutan is a commendable victory for K-Electric. In the press release K-Electric detailed that the KE Football Club were victorious by 1-0 in its Second Qualifying match against Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC.
The press release detailed the AFC Cup is a prestigious annual international association football competition that provides emerging nations an opportunity to showcase their talent on an international level from AFC- affiliated countries. The match between KE Football Club and Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC was competitive for the first half where neither sides scored and both sides showcased their defensive capabilities to their best. However, in the second half, KE Football Club’s Sunday Oludeyi scored a goal in the last ten minutes securing a victory against Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC, changing the game completely in their favor; Sunday Oludey was named Man of the Match demonstrating pristine skill and great sportsman ship. The KE Football Club playing in Bhutan at the AFC Cup is not only a victory for K-Electric but also for Pakistan making its mark in international football leagues.

Sunday Oludeyi, the Man of the Match commented, ‘This win is a tremendous victory for KE as well as for Pakistan and I am proud to have secured a victory for Team KE at the forty-third minute to the second half. It is pivotal to recognize that any win is a win for the team not an individual accomplishment. Football is one such game that is dependent on all eleven players and not a one man show’.
With KE Football Clubs victory against Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC they have earned themselves the winners of the group. In the following match if Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC win against the Druk FC, KE Football Club will draw with Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC in the Second Qualifying level. However, if Mongolia’s Khoromkhon FC draw against Druk FC, KE Football Club will take the lead and go through to the next level at the AFC Cup.
