Karachi: 13th August 2018: Under its Plant for Pakistan initiative which emphasizes environmental sustainability through tree plantation, K-Electric organized a tree plantation drive at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, with the newly-appointed Cardinal, His Eminence Joseph Coutts, in attendance. More than 300 plants were distributed and planted at the Cathedral grounds to celebrate Pakistan’s Independence with the message of “Plant for Pakistan.”

As part of our commitment towards a greener and cleaner Pakistan, we have planted more than 100,000 trees already. We are also collaborating with horticultural experts and social sector partners to create awareness of and facilitate tree plantation.”
