Conversion to legal power supply through low cost meters where required is an important part of the project. Massive customer awareness and facilitation drives are carried out in order to facilitate the customers at IBC level and at their doorsteps.

PMTs Converted
Upgrading power infrastructure of the area is crucial for Sarbulandi’s success. Installation of new PMT’s, upgradation of overall power infrastructure along with conversion of existing PMT’s to hook resistant Aerial Bundled Cabling (ABC) play a vital role in achieving the end goal of the project which is ultimately uplifting the communities with safe and reliable power supply, thus ensuring a brighter future.

Communities Engaged
KE teams regularly engage with local communities for collaboration. In order to engage locals of the area, various cleanup drives, facilitation camps, public welfare projects such as installation of water filtration plants and medical camps, meetings with area notables are conducted. These efforts play crucial role in achieving a shared goal of better livelihoods, safe and reliable power supply resulting in improved quality of life and energizing communities.

PROJECT SARBULANDI
With Project Sarbulandi, KE will accelerate investments in infrastructure upgradation, engage and uplift communities, support energy conservation, arrange clean-up drives and public space creation, facilitate healthcare provision and promote skill development. These efforts will look to improve the quality of life of the area residents while taking them on board as partners to end the vicious cycle of power theft and socio-economic depression. How Sarbulandi
Works:
With the objective of creating a long-term and sustainable benefit for area residents, Project Sarbulandi will entail the following activities:
1.
Installation of new PMTs & infrastructure upgradation.
2.
Laying of kunda resistant & reliable Aerial Bundled Cables.
3.
Provision of low-cost new connections.
4.
Regular anti-theft drives.
5.
Bill payment programmes to bring defaulters into the mainstream power network.
6.
Support communities through need-specific social investment projects such as community clean-up initiatives, installation of water purification plants, family festivals and awareness building programs, investment in upgradation & resurrection of local sports facilities for youth and much more.
