KARACHI, APRIL 30, 2025: K-Electric has registered the first information report (FIR) against miscreants who attacked the company’s staff, damaged property in DFS complex premises at Site and Haroonabad grids, and looted cash from the employees.
KE spokesperson Imran Rana stated, “We will utilise the full provision of the law against these attackers. K-Electric will also not tolerate any misdemeanor against its staff. Let there be no doubt that legal action will be taken against miscreants who take law into their own hands and attempt to damage KE infrastructure and property.”
KE also categorically states that provision of free electricity is not possible in areas where rampant electricity theft is prevalent and recovery is low.
Nearly 70% of K-Electric’s feeders are exempt from load-shed. The remaining feeders are subject to loadshed as per the schedule available on KE website where there is high electricity theft and low recovery.
