K-Electric to Undertake Maintenance Work at Haroonabad, KDA, Gul Ahmed, Vinder, Surjani, KCR, Memon Goth & PRL Grids

Karachi, February 14, 2023: KE will be undertaking a critical maintenance activity Haroonabad (Liaquatabad) circuit, Haroonabad (North Nazimabad) circuit, KDA (SNPC) circuit 1, Gul Ahmed/ Airport 1 circuit 2, Gul Ahmed/ Landhi circuit, Gul Ahmed gen, Main Trafo 2, Vinder/ Uthal circuit, Surjani grid (whole grid), Valika circuit, KCR, Memon Goth and PRL grids on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, to ensure the stability and reliability of power supply to consumers residing in these areas.

The activity requires a shutdown from 10:00 PM 15 February to 07:00 AM 16 February for Haroonabad Grid (Liaquatabad and North Nazimabad Circuits), 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM for KDA (SNPC) circuit 1, 08:00 AM to 06:00 PM for Gul Ahmed/ Airport 1 circuit 2, 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM for Vinder/ Uthal circuit, 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM for Surjani grid (whole grid), 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM for KCR grid, 09:00 AM 15 February to 08:00 PM 16 February for Memon Goth grid and 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM for PRL grid.

All customers registered on 8119 have been informed about this maintenance shutdown via SMS in advance.

Areas served by Surjani grid that may experience power shutdown during the maintenance activity are: Abdullah More, Ahsan Medical, Al-Watan, Aleem Paradise. Anamta Society, Anarkali, Arsalan Homes (Old Sector-L1), Bright Star, Dairy Queen, Deh Taiser, Education Centre, Ever Green, Global City, Gulshan-E-Shiraz, Hassan Barohi Goth, Hayat Baig and Health Care Unit (P-80).
