Karachi, January 7, 2026: K-Electric’s crackdown against electricity theft continued as its enforcement team in Tipu Sultan carried out an operation in Chanesar Goth, removing nearly 1,240 kilograms of illegal hooked connections (kundas). In FY26 to date, almost 6,000 illegal connections that weighed nearly 12,000 kilogrammes have been removed in this area.
K-Electric appeals to community leaders and residents to cooperate in clearing outstanding dues and to report electricity theft through K-Electric’s digital channels or at speakup@ke.com.pk.
